Orchestra
Klassikphilharmonie Hamburg
The Klassikphilharmonie Hamburg (formerly Hamburg Mozart Orchestra) was founded in 1978 by the renowned conductors Robert Stehli. The experienced orchestral trainer was able in just a few years to create a sound that satisfies the highest demands. The orchestra is among the elite of German ensembles for years. It offers technical brilliance, its musical enthusiasm and his charisma on stage. The orchestra performs about 40 concerts every year. Its concerts are an esential part of the musical life of Hamburg. The sold-out performances are praised by the audience. Instead of a parade of famous soloists high-profile young names are often presented by Robert Stehli. A special highlight since 1996 are HAMBURG PROMS – LAST NIGHT concerts. Klassikphilharmonie Hamburg has achieved impressive success both nationally and internationally. It performed at festivals such as the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival and the Mozart Festival in Würzburg. The orchestra toured in the European countries, South Korea and twice in the United States. Stehli and his musicians enjoy enthusiastic applause everywhere, and rave reviews testify to the international reputation of this orchestra.
